Day 115

My dear friend Rebecca sent me this quote she had found and I absolutely loved:

why did she make things?

well, she enjoyed it, of course;

but it also somehow

helped her remember

who she was

and where she came from.

When I see her in the midst of creating, which can occupy her for hours,

I wonder if she realizes that she carries with her those women who have created before her?
